Beyond Dreams
Red hot circle of beaming light
low slung across dirty buildings
scuffed with last nights drunken boasts.
Thick sap oozes out on the limb
Glowing warm on slender branches
Tall grass whips her naked ankles
Lightening flashes
illuminating the tainted landscape
Her eyes electrocute his torment
