ANN MURPHY WINS THE SECOND SIMIAN AWARD
It is with great pride and pleasure that I am able to announce the official winner of the Second Shakespeare's Monkey Simian Award of 2007 is Ann Murphy for her poem "Lincoln."
As winner of the contest Ms. Murphy receives $100, publication in the next issue of Shakespeare's Monkeys Revue, and qualification for Shakespeare's Monkey's $100 prize for best poem of the year in December. Honorable Mentions go to Pauline Dutton for her poem "God Parking", and Scott Utley for his poem "City of Angels." I would also like to congratulate all the contestants for the high quality of the work submitted allowing this to be such a great success.
